Standard WDMs:
FONT's  WDMs are ideal for multiplexing of two wavelengths (1310nm and 1550nm or custom wavelengths) from two fibers,  onto one fiber or de-multiplexing of  two wavelengths from one fiber into two fibers each carrying one wavelength. FONT's standard WDMs increase network capacity by 100% and are ideal for establishing duplex transmission on a single fiber. FONT's standard and high isolation WDMs provide greater than 16 dB and 35 dB of isolation respectively. Higher isolation can be achieved by using FONT's high quality filters.

Custom design:
FONT's unique designs also allow for multiplexing and demultiplexing of combination of wavelengths. For example, two signals with 1310nm and 1550nm, on one fiber, may be multiplexed/demultiplexed with 1625nm on another fiber. A typical spectral response of  (1310+1550nm)/1625nm WDM is depicted in Fig.1. These WDMs are highly desirable in OTDRs and long distance test and measurements.

Pump WDMs:
FONT's premium quality pump WDMs are ideal for Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifiers (EDFA) and Raman amplifiers. These WDMs operate at 980/1550nm, 980/1480nm and 1064/1310nm with losses as low as 0.2dB.

FONT's WDMs are ideal for cable TV applications, long haul communications and fiber amplifiers (EDFA, Raman). WDMs are also widely used in , sensor technology, two window OTDR testing, dual wavelength laser sources and laboratory test and measurements. FONT's WDMs are available in variety of package styles.
